Exit Planning

Exit Planning begins by exploring the answers to three questions.  How much money do I need or want on a monthly basis to live?  Whom do I want to sell or transfer the business to?  How much longer do I want to work in the business?  Following is an overview of our exit planning process.

In most cases, the owner has a general idea of their answers to these questions, but doesn't fully understand the financial impact.  A Financial Needs Analysis and Multi-Channel Business Valuation are necessary to fully explore your exit options and the impact of alternative answers to the questions.  With this information, we can present your full range of exit options, explain the impact of each, provide you with recommendations that can maximize value received, and allow you to make informed decisions about your exit planning and financial future.

Implementation of the Exit Plan is an ongoing process.  Our consultative process utilizes quarterly meetings to identify priorities, set action items and monitor progress.  Whether you have one year or ten years to implement your exit plan, you will benefit by starting as early as possible.  A well planned exit can greatly improve the value received.
